Morfologia
A small entrance gives access to a shaft with a 3.5 metre drop and a steep inclination (53°). Once at the base of the shaft, a narrow passage leads to a small chamber followed by a crawlway of triangular section that ends in a dome 2.5 m high.

Unfortunately, due to its location beside the road, it has served as a rubbish dump.
Storia
The avenc de Viladellops was opened during the road construction works (in 1968 or earlier) and was first explored by the Grup Espeleològic Talaia of the Agrupació Excursionista Talaia (Vilanova i la Geltrú). In the article published in the magazine Soterrània they give no speleometric data, but we can estimate them at 5.5 metres of drop and 14 metres of length. Ten years later J. Virella assigns it 3 metres of drop and 14 metres of length. A second survey (G. Aymamí) gives it a drop of 6 m and the gallery located at the base of the shaft does not appear, but there is no doubt that it is the same cavity. At some point someone renamed it Avenc Janine.
