Morfologia
Formed by a single ascending gallery, with a high ceiling and a width of just over 1.50 metres along its 11 metres of passage.
Storia
Unpublished cavity visited and surveyed by members of the SIE – CE Àliga on 2-5-1980, who, for lack of knowing another name for it, if it has one, named it Coveta de Cardó.
E. Bayerri, in his Història de Tortosa (1934), mentions the Cova Gran de Cardó, transcribing a description of a cave that appears in the book 'Historia de la antigua Hibera' (Martorell, 1627). Although the description is in a romantic and fanciful style, we could state that it is a different cavity from this one, although we cannot determine which one it might be.
