Cova de Sant Josep

A tiny little cave in the Serra de Cardó (Baix Ebre).

From the car park of the Convent-balneari de Cardó, follow the wide path with the sign "Ermitori de la Vall de Cardó" until reaching a junction where we find the left-hand path barred with a chain; on one side there is a small water collection hut. Right beside the hut a small trail starts that passes below the cliff where the ermita de la Columna is located; on reaching the esplanade of the font de l'Avellaner, a fork to the left is left behind that descends towards the ermita de sant Elies; continue onwards and soon you find the steps that lead towards the ermita de sant Josep; at the top of the first flight of steps is the small cave.
