Morfologia
The small upper cavity is excavated along a bedding plane of Quaternary breccias. In the lower one, at sea level, the change to the Cretaceous limestones of the Garraf can be seen. It is an elongated gallery that ends after a few metres in an unclear manner. The conduit, well defined, is the characteristic one of springs at the seashore.
Storia
Certainly known to fishermen since remote times. Faura i Sans, in his Recull (1909), cites: La Bufera – Aiguadolç, but we do not know whether it is the same cavity.
Other authors cite the Coves de l'Aiguadolç, but in this spot only the freshwater outlets were known, or they were some cavities destroyed by the construction of the marina.
