Località

Once past Rialb heading towards Queralbs, at around kilometre 3 the paved track that climbs to Vilamanya leaves to the left; once the track is crossed, on reaching the first bend to the right, leave the track on the left-hand side and follow a path straight ahead without deviating, which will lead us to the cave, 16.60x5.40 metres.

Descrizione

Morfologia

The entrance, 16.60x5.40 metres, gives access to a single chamber 27 metres long by 16 metres wide. In the first part of the cavity we find a chaos of enormous blocks. At the base of the cave there is some contact with slate.

Concrezioni

At the end, a flow of microgours, completely decalcified, blocks any possibility of continuation.

Storia

The first reference to the exploration of this cavity dates from 4 June 1972, carried out by members of the SIE del CE Àliga.
