Località

On the road that climbs to the sanctuary of the Mare de Déu del Mont, we will find on the right the turn-off to the village of Falgars. Approximately one kilometre further on we find a track also on the right which after two hundred metres widens on the left-hand side; at this point and a few metres above on the left, the small entrance of the cavity is located. Approximate coordinates.

Morfologia

Small cavity with 20 metres of passage. It has a small elongated entrance that continues with cracks, following the level of a path. The vertical drop is -3.4 metres.

Progressione

Following the level of a path, it makes it easy to observe the outside unnoticed from inside the cave.

Altri dettagli

Perhaps its only interest is due to its characteristics. It is presumed that in other times it was used as a lookout post and mainly as a refuge by the inhabitants of Falgars.

Storia

Already mentioned by Pere Vayreda in 1931. At the GEB (Grup Espeleològic de Badalona) they were given references of the cave by en Marcel·lí Quintana de Beuda. Later they were accompanied by en Pep de Falgars; they explored it in 1997.
