Località

Shortly after kilometre 14 of the road from Castellar del Vallès to Sant Llorenç Savall there is the so-called Revolt Rodó, from where the track leading to the Dalmau starts. We will follow it to the first turn-off to the right, up to a torrent where the path divides it in two. We will take the left one, which climbs along the left slope of the torrent, until we find a second crossroads. We will again take the left one and, not many metres from the turn-off, we will find the pit beside the path.

Descrizione

Morfologia

The entrance, 1.5 metres in diameter, opens at one end of a large joint of N22S direction, 22 metres long and 8 high. Due to various collapses of the ceiling we find different collapse cones in the middle of the gallery.

Storia

The cavity was opened to the outside by the weight of the excavator that was opening some secondary tracks in the area. Detected by the woodcutter Josep Castellet, he reported it to members of the SIS – CET who explored it in late October 1978.
