Descrizione
Morfologia
The elongated mouth allows descending through a 4-metre shaft, the bottom of which is full of sand and mud. The base descends with a slope towards the NE following the generating joint until it becomes impenetrable.
Storia
The cavity was located while clearing the hollows of the Riera Seca, after the disastrous snowfalls of January 1986. The pit had opened when a large pine tree fell and, beneath its large stump, the new cavity had opened. The find was made by Francesc Dalmau and Josep Castellet, who reported it to speleologists from Terrassa and on 28 March of that same year J. Claverí and J. Boixader (GES – CMT) made the first exploration.
