Next to the C-15Z road that was built while the works to widen the C-15 (from Vilanova to Vilafranca) were underway at the height of Canyelles. About 30 metres in a straight line from the avenc de la Barrina.

Descrizione

Morfologia

This pit is formed by a selective, narrow and uncomfortable entrance, which gives way to a meander 4 metres deep by as many to the ceiling, and reaches a width of one metre at the deepest part, and a length of more than 10 metres.

Concrezioni

We find clearly differentiated flood levels marked by the profusion of anemolites, and we were pleasantly surprised to see small aragonites in an initial phase. Unfortunately, two larger aragonites we found broken by the action of the drillings that leave the cavity with some unstable rocks.

Storia

Opened during the works to widen the C-15 road. In early April 2015 members of the GES-Garraf (Sitges), a week after the exploration of the avenc de la Barrina, found its entrance and after a desobstruction proceeded to its exploration and survey.
