Avenc de Castellcir

From Castellcir, take the path leading to the castle, follow along the Castellcir stream, pass by ca l'Antoja and la Torrassa dels Moros, then change slopes to take the path to the casa Nova del Castell. Shortly before crossing the torrent de la Casa Nova, a small path branches off to the right and climbs directly to the castle. Shortly before arriving, the path levels out along a ridge, and it is then that you must turn back along the aforementioned ridge heading SW. A faint trail, at times very overgrown, goes into a dense forest where the entrance of the pit is difficult to locate.

On the final stretch of the climb, the companions of the espeleodijous found a small trail that, through the forest, climbs up to the entrance of the pit, saving the last metres of the climb and the walk back through the middle of the forest.
