By the BV-1310 road that goes from Castellterçol to Castellcir, after the latter we will take the first turning on the right which, along a dirt track, will bring us to the Roca farmhouse.

Here we will leave the car, to take a path that starts below the house and descends parallel to the Esplugues torrent.

From the path the rock shelter is clearly visible, but to reach it we must descend along a path that starts on our left and crosses the torrent below the waterfall where we find the rock shelter.

The rock shelter has maximum dimensions of 50 metres in width by 9 in depth and 10 metres in height.

In its eastern sector the rock shelter is built up with the remains of dry-stone walls.

Storia

Known since time immemorial. Members of the GE Badalona visited it on 2-2-2019 while carrying out the cataloguing work.
