A 28-metre pit in Artesa de Segre, with an entrance of 1.7 x 1 metre and shafts of 25 metres and -28 metres.

Characteristics

Location

You must go to Can Ribera, which is located near the coll de Comiols. From the farmhouse we will descend to the barranc de la Jona and to the bassa de les Fontetes to go back up the barranc along the hydrographic right until some flats that are located a little further south. Among a small group of trees is the cavity.

Description

Morphology

The entrance is 1.7 x 1 metre and gives way to a 25-metre shaft with a ledge at -8 m. A few metres further down it connects with another, much more decorated shaft that reaches the maximum depth at -28 metres.

Speleothems

The second shaft is much more decorated.

History

First exploration carried out by C. Ribera, R. Viñas and others in April 1965.
