A 63-metre-long cavity in Margalef, explored by the GELL in 2001.

Characteristics

Location

Follow the path that climbs from the barranc de la Taverna until reaching the avenc del Púdol; from there we will descend towards the left slope of a small ravine that leads to a large entrance called La Bocota. You must descend on the left side of this until, level with the entrance, you find a new, much more discreet collapse. Approximate coordinates.

Description

Morphology

The low-roofed entrance quickly gives access to a small step that leaves us beside an imposing gallery that descends gently to a kind of clastic plug. Once past this passage, one enters a gallery with characteristics similar to the previous one. Shortly before entering the last gallery, we find a collapse through a fissure that for now remains blocked by boulders.

Progression

The low-roofed entrance quickly gives access to a small step. The clastic plug had to be cleared.

History

Explored by the GELL in 2001. The name was due to the narrowness of the entrance; currently the entrance is quite wide after carrying out a powerful clearance.
