Description

Morphology

Formed by a single chamber 12 metres long by 7 metres wide and a height that oscillates between 1.5 and 2.5 metres; the vault is rounded and the floor is covered by sediments. At the S end of the hall and above a block, a small ascending conduit of short length originates.

History

Although it may possibly have been known since ancient times in the area, the first documented news that we know of is from the exploration carried out by the GES of the CMB in March 1965.

In 1972 the SIE of the CE Àliga explored it and made the only known survey of the cavity, which was not published until 1980 in vol. 5 of the Catàleg Espeleològic de Catalunya.
