Forat del Clot dels Torrents

A 15-metre-deep pit in the torrent de la Font del Boix (Castellar de n'Hug), of imprecise location.

Castellar de n'Hug • Berguedà 29m 15m

A 15-metre-deep pit in the torrent de la Font del Boix (Castellar de n'Hug), of imprecise location.

Characteristics

Location

It is of imprecise location; according to the first explorers it is somewhere in the torrent de la Font del Boix, which descends from the Coll de la Creueta to Castellar de N'Hug.

The name Clot dels Torrents corresponds to the point where the torrent dels Cóms de l'Orri and the torrent de la Coma de Migjorn converge; these are to the East of la Tuta, while the torrent de la Font del Boix is to the West of it. The coordinates have been placed at this hypothetical point, since it is the closest between the aforementioned torrent and the point where the toponym corresponding to the same name as the cavity is found, although it is unknown whether they have anything to do with each other.
