Location

The cavity is located in the municipality of Baix Pallars (Boumort).

To get there, on the N-260 road from Pobla de Segur to Sort, once you have passed the last tunnel of the Collegats gorge, at 2.5 kilometres you will find the turn-off towards Baén; then a bridge crosses the Noguera Pallaresa river and, once across, you must take a track on the right which crosses the Major river by a ford and climbs up towards the Pentina forest, winding its way up the mountain, and you head towards the Cuberes refuge. The cavity is on the right and right next to the track, 270 metres before reaching the junction that is at the Collada (the collada del Camp, according to the ICC), above the Clot de Cuberes, where the Cuberes refuge (Casa Miró) is located.

Description

Morphology

The entrance has several openings; the main one, a little more than two metres long by less than a metre wide and divided by a block, drops us into a pit of a little more than 4 metres. The sloping floor follows a joint running E-W for about twenty metres until it becomes impenetrable.
