Description
Morphology
A small entrance that had to be widened leads us into a narrow joint that becomes impassable at -4 metres; on the north-west side another narrow passage ends at 3.5 metres.
Progression
GEFOMA located it in 1971 but its narrowness prevented exploration. In 2002 the SIE del CEA, with the presence of a member of the ERE del CEC, proceeded to widen the entrance, confirming that there was no possibility of continuation.
Other details
At certain times of the year a strong wind blows.
History
In this cavity, some authors of the most recent catalogues of the area have confused it with the avenc de Sant Jordi. Although Jeannel and Racovitza in 1912 already made clear that these are two different cavities, referring to the fact that the Forat Bufador has a very narrow entrance and that it is very close to the ermita.
This cavity has been known to the people of Camarasa since time immemorial; in fact, during the pilgrimage held on the feast day of Sant Jordi, the children's entertainment was to throw stones into it.
