A 44 m long fissure near the coll de la Mola, in Rojals, Muntanyes de Prades.

Characteristics

Location

From the small village of Rojals you must take the track that goes towards the coll de Mola; once there you must follow a path to the right (GR-171-4) for about 10 minutes and on the right you will see the crag. As you approach it you will immediately see the fissure. Above it are the forest watchtower and the track that goes towards the coll de la Creu d'Ardit.

Description

Morphology

A wide and tall fissure with a rigid S-N direction, with short ascending and descending ramps and with its entire course made uneven by blocks, some of large dimensions. The fissure crosses this section of crag, presenting an opening at each end.

History

The only data we know are the result of the exploration carried out by members of the GIEM – Club Excursionista Montblanc on 6 March 1993.
