Description
Morphology
Lower entrance: going up the scree we reach the lower mouth that opens at the foot of the rock of the cliff with the appearance of a fissure with a roof. On the right there is a crawl that leads out a few metres further on in the form of a ledge over the inner crevice, and upwards a light opening can be glimpsed that must correspond to an upper entrance.
Upwards the gallery, after climbing a small drop with some branches, closes by an accumulation of blocks. In a descending direction the "room" divides into two parallel galleries, in part superimposed, that end by narrowness and wedged blocks by which we reach the level of -19 metres from the initial or lower mouth (level -42 of the whole cavity).
Upper entrance: we descend by the first upper mouth located, which is situated near the vertical of the lower mouth. Later a second mouth was found a couple of metres higher and some ten away which we consider level 0 and which comes out in the very middle of the upper gallery.
The upper gallery is structured on the same fracture and at 13 metres the 12-metre chimney appears that leads to the upper mouth. In total this gallery has a length of 40 metres, and a slightly longer route through some double passage and small ramifications. It ends by a narrowness of the crevice that at its top through a small hole shows the outside light.
Progression
Descending the shaft, now at level -2, a shaft-crevice of 31 metres of vertical opens. At -11 of descent a pendulum places us in the upper gallery. If we continue descending 11 metres recovering the pendulum and passing through a wedged block we reach the head of the P9 of the lower gallery. Thanks to the previous rigging and the double-rope installations, we make the traverse between entrances recovering all the material and exiting by the current level -22 metres.
History
Around the year 2015 it was visited partially by Joan Pallisé while searching for fauna (Troglocharinus orcinus) which turned out fruitless. He did not come to give it any specific name.
Two years later it is located by members of the SIE-CEA and together with the group of the Espeleodijous, on 30 March and 29 June 2017, they explore it fully and carry out the work of surveying and cataloguing.
