Tavertet • Osona 10m

Cave with a 10-metre passage in Tavertet, rectangular in plan and with openings at both ends.

Characteristics

Location

Taking the BV-5207 road from l'Esquirol to Tavertet, at approximately kilometre 9.6, a track leaves on the left, parallel to the road, heading towards el Sunyer. After about 650 metres we reach Collsaplomera, where we find a private path sign and a power line passing overhead. We will turn left and follow a track in a southerly direction, as if retracing our route but at a higher elevation. We will follow this track for 350 metres until we reach an electric fence; a few metres before it, a path leaves on the right and soon becomes a narrow trail. This runs parallel to the electric fence until it reaches the foot of the cliff. We will follow the base of the cliff to the right in a northerly direction, where we will soon find the Balma de les Moles. A few metres before it we will find a steep gully that will take us to the upper part of the cliff, where we will find the cavity.
