Gisclareny • Berguedà2m0

A tiny little cave on the torrent that descends from Puig Terrers, in Gisclareny, formed by three aligned entrances.

Characteristics

Location

A tiny little cave on the torrent that descends from Puig Terrers (Gisclareny). From the Cap de Sadorn, we will continue heading up the torrent bed in the direction of Puig Terrers. Almost at the highest part and in the middle of the torrent bed there is a large wedged block. From this point the torrent becomes almost a scree slope, and in the middle of it there are some limestone crags, where at the foot of the crag we find the cave PT-2; continuing up the torrent, some 50 metres further on we find the cave PT-3. Approximate coordinates without much precision.

Description

Morphology

The cavity is formed by a group of three aligned entrances, although two of them, because of their tiny dimensions, are of no interest whatsoever. The third, a little wider although of little extent, consists of a crawlway that is soon obstructed by a large block that bars the way towards a narrow impassable passage.

History

Located and explored in August 1992 by the SIES of Esplugues de Llobregat.
