Location

It is located 6 metres to the left of the cova del Garrofet; the entrance opens in the wall of the cliff, a couple of metres from its base.

Description

Morphology

A wide gallery with a gentle slope descends to -1.6 metres; at this point the gallery turns towards the SE, narrows and ends after a total length of 11.5 metres.

Speleothems

At present the lithogenic formations are completely damaged.

History

Due to its proximity to the neighbouring cova del Garrofet, it has been known since ancient times and has also been the subject of archaeological excavations.
