Description
Morphology
An entrance about 5 metres wide by 1 metre high, heavily masked by vegetation, leads us in down a descending ramp. This ramp is passable on the left, where a passage one metre wide descends until reaching the level of -4 metres, where it ends. On the right we observe two holes, which connect to a small chamber.
History
In 1969, the Grup Espeleològic Pedraforca began a series of explorations, in which they surveyed and named the different cavities of the surroundings, respecting the already known Cova de Bellabriga. This cave was the first they visited on 22 June.
In 2010 the Grup Espeleològic de Badalona explored and surveyed this group of cavities again, changing the name of some of them and specifically in the case of the Cova Petita de la Bellabriga, they renamed it Cova de la Vallabriga Petita or Cova Petita de la Vallabriga, since both names appear in the article in question.
