Small cave with a passage of 21 m in Pratdip (Baix Camp), explored by the SIE – CE Àliga in December 1972.

Characteristics

Location

Going along the track from Pratdip to the Racó de la Dòvia, on reaching the height of the Clot del Teix, a path branches off to the right and climbs towards the crests of the Seda through the area of les Torneres. Well before that, however, there is an old country hut. At its height, but about 100 metres to the west, the cave is found.

Description

Morphology

The entrance gallery, with a slight incline, forms a vestibule 7 metres long, 2 wide and a little more than 1 metre high. At its end, a narrow passage followed by a small step allows entry into a narrow gallery about 14 metres long until it becomes impenetrable.

History

The only and scarce data available are those given by the SIE – CE Àliga, who explored it in December 1972.
