Characteristics

Location

From Cabacés, we will follow the old path of the Foia, pass by the Mare de Deu de la Foia and the collet Ros; after this we will turn off onto the path on the left towards the Racó del Cinto. Before reaching the height of the punta del Bep and the Portell de la Boca de l'infern, we will look for a clear joint that cuts the path on a flat stretch. The cave is located about ten metres below the path, very close to the joint. Approximate coordinates.

Description

Morphology

A single gallery descends in the initial stretch to -7 metres. Then, the second half of the gallery climbs back up until it ends choked by boulders. The cavity is closely linked to the fracture that can be seen outside.

History

Explored by the GELL in January 1998. Given its location, it could well be the cova del Llebreta.
