Characteristics

Location

The cavity is located in the Alta Garrotxa, Albanyà. Along the track heading from Can Bosc to the Trulls, before reaching them, a descending branch leads off towards the Borró. Follow the Borró up until finding on the right the confluence of the torrent de Lliurona. Just as you enter this torrent, a few metres upstream on the left (hydrographic right), we find the cavity hidden by vegetation. Approximate coordinates.

Description

Morphology

A portal of 2.50x4.20 metres gives way to an ascending gallery, occupied by boulders. A small step connects with a chimney, while the gallery continues for a few metres with a very low ceiling.

History

It seems that this cavity was explored by the RES of the CE Pirenaic on the first of July 1973, as recorded in graffiti at the cave entrance where the name also appears, but no additional information is known. On 27 June 1998, members of the GEB accompanied by Xavi Borruel, who knew the location of the cavity, explored it and carried out the survey.
