Location

Leaving the Granadella along the C-233 road towards the Soleràs, on reaching kilometre 28.375 we turn off to the right, turning almost 180º; after 20 metres we follow the track on the left, which is the path of the Vall dels Aranyons; after covering 800 metres we leave the mas de Biosca on the right and continue straight on for 1.07 kilometres (1.9 km from the road); when 100 metres remain before reaching the mas del Manolo we take a track on the left which we follow for about 80 metres, leave the vehicle and continue on the right of the path in a NE direction for about 50 metres without a path, where we will easily find the cavity.

Description

Morphology

Small walled rock shelter 13 metres wide and a maximum of about 4 metres deep, heavily camouflaged among the vegetation, since the roof is less than 2 metres. A dry-stone wall completely closes the cavity, which is entered through a small wooden door. Inside there is a hearth, a manger for the pack animal, a stable and a kind of bedroom excavated in the rock, in the manner of a niche, all of it within a surface area of less than 20 square metres.
