Characteristics

Location

We will set out from Roda de Ter along a paved track found at the entrance to the village; the track leads to Tavèrnoles, and we will follow it until we reach the Salou farmhouse, where we will leave the car to continue on foot along a track that passes behind the farmhouse; soon we find a path that runs along the foot of the cliff, and about 250 m before reaching the castle of s’Avellana we will find the cave at the foot of the cliff.

Description

Morphology

It is a small cave, formed by an outlet conduit for water infiltrating from the upper part of the cliff. The cavity has dimensions of 6 m in length by 2 m in height and 1.5 m in width. The cave narrows until it becomes completely impassable.
