Location

Coastal cavity located in front of the islets known as Ses Vaques, between the coves of Sa Tuna and Aiguafreda de Begur.

We will access it from the beach of Sa Tuna by following the camí de ronda northwards towards Aiguafreda; after about 350 m of walking we will reach a magnificent viewpoint over the sea that offers good views of the cove of Aiguafreda. We will continue along the camí de ronda for another 40 m, where we will find some stairs that descend to sea level. The cave is located at the opposite NW end of the small cove that guards the islets of Ses Vaques.

Description

Morphology

Cave practically at sea level, totally rectilinear following the sedimentary strata in which it is located, with a rocky floor of large blocks that allow comfortable access on a slight climb towards the highest point, where a large block partially blocks the access. After the block the cavity descends until reaching the end of the gallery, where a narrow laminador continues for an additional metre or so.
