Description
Morphology
Through an upper mouth one enters laterally into a gallery 7 metres wide, descending and blocked by speleothems and decalcification clay. At the lowest point, there is also a lateral mouth that leads outside and just below it a significant removal of floor material has been made (a few cubic metres), which appears relatively recent (summer 2015 or 2014).
Speleothems
In the very middle of the gallery there is a rather degraded stalagmitic formation.
Progression
From here follow a track that soon becomes a well-marked path. First skirting the ridge and shortly towards the bottom of the Coscó. On joining the path that climbs up the aforementioned bottom, follow for a few metres and the mouth becomes visible.
History
Known since time immemorial. Faura i Sans already includes it, without giving any data, in his Recull (1909). It has been the subject of archaeological work since 1919 and remains have been found from the Neolithic to the Roman period.
