Characteristics

Location

The rock shelter is located in Capafonts, in the Muntanyes de Prades. It is reached by the TV-7041 road from Alcover and Mont-ral: shortly before arriving at the village of Capafonts there is a marked bend and on the left a track branches off which, following the riu de l'Horta, leads very close to the Font de la Llúdriga (Llódriga, according to the ICC). From the font de la Llúdriga one must go back a little until finding, on the left, a steeply climbing path. This leads onto the path that comes from les Tosques and which had to be left earlier in order to go to the font. Following this route, very well signposted, one arrives at the Cova de les Gralles, which is located in the barranc de la Font Nova.
