Small cave with 11 metres of passage in the municipality of Àger.

Characteristics

Location

In the municipality of Àger. By the paved track that climbs from Àger towards the coll d'Ares, on reaching the plans de Badia we will take the track on the left in the direction of the font de l'Hospital and the old monastery of Sant Llorenç (currently in ruins), following the track to the end we will arrive at a large flat area located to the South of the Trona. From here and along the West side of the flat area, a path sets off in the direction of the various climbing routes of the so-called paret de Catalunya. Once at the foot of the cliff we only have to follow it in a Westerly direction until we reach the cave; this is found 200 metres before reaching the Cova Negra de Corçà, at a point where the path is lost in the middle of a scree slope and one must climb up to a ledge where the entrance opens, 1.5 metres above the ground.

One can also go via Corçà and the Mas de Carlets; on reaching the latter we will already see the entrance of the Cova negra de Corçà, unfortunately at present the old paths are lost and one must go cross-country.
