Location

The barranc de Tixelles, in its central part, is enclosed by a large rocky circle. At this point, in the central zone of the circle, the cavity opens.

Coordinates without any precision, they only indicate the area where the cavity would probably be.

Description

Morphology

Formed by a single rounded chamber that also presents an exit to the outside open in the ceiling.

History

The first known reference is from the exploration carried out by J. Castell together with other members of the ERE of the CEC during the first half of the 60s of the last century, who carried out the survey.

We attach the two known surveys, redrawn by different authors from the same original by J. Castell (currently lost); one was published in the Catàleg Espeleològic de Catalunya volume 7 (1984) by Joan Borràs, and the other was published in the magazine Espeleòleg nº 34/35 by Alfred Montserrat.
