Characteristics

Location

From the hostal del Guiu, you only have to look up and you can clearly see a small rock shelter that is the entrance to the cave. Getting there, however, is not so easy: there is no path and the terrain is quite steep, but the main difficulty is the kermes oaks that have overrun the surroundings. To find the point where you leave the path and head upwards, you need to look for a small stone plaque on the left of the path, a few metres after the last building of the Hostal. You must climb up by this plaque and advance upwards (strictly north direction) looking for the best route. If we look at it from below we will see that there are two small ridges that converge at a point, about a hundred metres above the Hostal. Right at the point where they converge is the cave.

Description

Morphology

It consists of a single gallery with a jointed structure and comfortable dimensions. Its plan is ascending and it has a single obstacle in the form of a rise, above which the gallery is divided in two by an upper level, connected to the main one by two small shafts. Both galleries end in a sudden narrowness of walls. The height difference is +9 metres.
