Description

Morphology

The cavity presents an entrance hall of 10X4 metres, and about 3 metres in height, which presents four exits to the outside. On its N side, the small entrances of an inner chamber open, totally covered by stalagmitic flows and also connected with the gallery joining it to the second part of the cave. This gallery, 7 metres in length, presents a very picturesque configuration, since it is a passage between large flows of more than 6 metres in height, and an indeterminate thickness; once on the other side, one reaches the start of another new gallery of 15 metres in length towards the N, presenting three exits to the outside. At its beginning a small inner chamber of 9 metres opens, and between the large flows, a new passage which after descending 5 metres, comes out again to the outside, at the level of the river.

Speleothems

The inner chamber is totally covered by stalagmitic flows. The gallery 7 metres in length is a passage between large flows of more than 6 metres in height, and an indeterminate thickness.

History

Known since time immemorial, they are already cited by Font i Sagué in 1897.
