Description

Morphology

The rounded mouth, hanging on the wall of the outer fissure of la Cova del Mamut, gives way to an irregularly shaped vestibule with small blocks. Although it is located inside the outer fissure of Coves del Mamut, morphologically it has nothing to do with it and it has always been considered a cavity separate from the Mamut.

Speleothems

Considerable lithogenic formation that forms pseudo-galleries that end after a few metres.

History

The first report of the cavity was given by the GIE of the CE Gràcia at the end of the fifties.
