Description

Morphology

The entrance is a 3 x 3 metre portal that opens onto a 13 metre shaft with its base covered in chough guano. Towards the S, a short descending gallery ends at -16 metres. Towards the N, one must climb over a large block and a short horizontal passage that lead to a narrow section that had to be cleared, and immediately after, through a very very narrow 5 metre drop one reaches some wedged blocks that overhang a splendid 73 metre shaft. At its base, on a slope and occupied by blocks, one can continue through a 4 metre small shaft and then an 8 metre one where the maximum depth is reached. Between the blocks a strong air current is perceptible.

At the -48 level, in the very middle of the P.73, there is a window that can be reached by means of a pendulum and that gives access to a gallery along a joint, about 15 metres long and with wedged blocks. A little below the same shaft (-70 level) there is another window that leads to a small shaft with a blind vault and that descends only about 5 metres.

History

Located by Jenar Indurain (SIS-CET) in 1978. Explored and surveyed by the SS Plantaurel in August 1979. During the August 1989 campaign, the SIS – CET revisits it and explores a small lateral shaft. They also resurvey it, measuring one metre more of total depth.
