Location

Leaving from la Pobla de Lillet along the road (B-402 / GI-402) towards Campdevànol, we will have to turn right onto the road (BU-4656) heading to Frontanyà. About 3.5 km from the fork, we will find a widening on the right where we can leave the vehicles and continue on foot along a path that will take us to the torrent de Solls and the rock shelter.

Description

Morphology

The rock shelter has maximum measurements of 60 m wide, 10 deep and 8 high.

Speleothems

The spring inside the rock shelter is channelled by the column with the appearance of tufa.

Hydrology

The spring inside the rock shelter is a water capture, coming from filtrations of the upper torrent that springs from the roof of the rock shelter.

History

Known since time immemorial.
