Description

Morphology

Shady rock shelter 30 m wide, 6.5 m maximum height and 12 m deep, with a very stony floor.

Hydrology

At the northern end the water of the torrent (when it carries any) plunges down in a cascade, flowing through the interior of the rock shelter.

Progression

We will take the path that leaves from the western side of the farmhouse, cross a first torrent and, on reaching the second one (a spot where there is a watering trough), we will go up it along the right hydrographic slope, finding the rock shelter within a few tens of metres.

History

Known since ancient times. Visited in April 2019 by members of the Espeleo Club Muntanyenc Barcelonès and of the Grup d'Espeleologia de Badalona, who carried out the relevant cataloguing work.
