Location

It opens in a small cinglet located on the S side, of the western branch of Puig Cubell, called els Pujons, near the path that links can Mic with les Lloses.

Description

Morphology

The cavity is formed by a straight gallery 20 metres in development, structured along an E-W joint. It presents a width that oscillates between 1 and 2 metres, and a highly variable height, due to the characteristic shape of this type of gallery; at its end, it comes into contact with another of similar characteristics, but with an NNE-SSW direction.

Progression

The floor of the entire cave is formed by clay and stones, presenting a gentle slope at the beginning, which becomes more pronounced as we progress until reaching -9 metres relative to the exterior.

History

Explored by the GES of the CMB in the mid-1950s.

It is probable that it is the same cavity that in the old catalogues of the late 19th century was cited as Gruta de Vidrà.
