Characteristics

Location

We will leave the village of Castellbell i el Vilar along the BV-1123 road that leads to Marganell; before reaching Km1 we will turn right onto a track that leads to the Brunet farmhouse; when we pass the house we will leave the car and immediately take a path that starts on our left, which will lead us to the bed of the torrent de l'Avellà; we will go up a few metres until we reach the head, where the balma de l'Avellà is clearly visible.
