Characteristics

Location

From the Pla de Querol parking area, follow the path to Campgràs and continue along the road that climbs to the Aviation Transmitter Centre, going as far as the installation located furthest E. To the N of this is elevation 586 (Serrat de la Morella), and practically at the top is the very visible Avenc de l'Estrip. At 13 metres in a SE direction (125º), is the Avenc SM-6.

Description

Morphology

A pit of about 7 metres formed by a passage of rather reduced dimensions. At the end it widens. The total depth is 7.60 metres.

Speleothems

At the end, where the passage widens, a fine lithogenic process has developed, somewhat decalcified.

History

Located and cleared in March 1993 by members of ERE – CEC.
