Location

From the Pla de Querol car park, follow the path to the Campgràs and continue along the road that climbs to the Aviation Transmitter Centre, going as far as the installation located furthest E. To the N of this is spot height 586 (Serrat de la Morella) and practically at the top is the very visible Avenc de l'Estrip. 60 metres E of the summit is the doline of the Avenc de la Banya.

Description

Morphology

Collapse entrance in the middle of a doline. The maximum depth is at 2.60 metres.

Progression

Continuation blocked by the decalcification clay of the doline itself, a remnant of the former cover. Attempts at clearing have occurred fairly regularly, the last in 2013.
