To the NW of Puigsallança. Access is from the village of Santa Pau, taking the path known as l'escaler, passing by the volcano Plaça Ribera and reaching the collet de Sant Jordi; the path continues, passes by the mas del Grau and runs alongside a torrent until reaching a spring. The torrent joins another and then one must go up this one, still following the path visibly for a few more metres. To reach the cova de les Angúnies one must follow the first tributary on the right according to the direction of travel, and go up it until finding the cavity right in the middle of the thalweg. The cova del Llop is located 130 metres further up, therefore the pit is located between both cavities.

Another access possibility would be from Santa Maria de Finestres, where there is a signposted path to Puigsallança; the head of the torrent where the cave is located begins 200 metres to the NW of it, in this case we would pass first by the cova del Llop which is located 130 metres further up than the cova de les Angúnies, between both is the pit.

Coordinates without much precision, they only indicate the area where the cavity probably is located.
