Avenc dels Casals

On the ridge situated between the Vall de Vaquers and the Fondo de l'Espinadar. Shortly before km. 16 of the road from Begues to Olesa de Bonesvalls (a few metres before the quarry and cement and lime factory CI Aries), a track (closed) branches off which soon crosses the riera de Begues and climbs the fondo de l'Espinadar. Further on we find on the left the remains of the corrals of els Casals and a little further on, on the right, the ruins of an enormous farmstead (els Casals). From here one must climb westwards to the ridge (there was a path, today practically lost) and continue on a few metres, to find the cavity on the left-hand side of the ridge, amid the scrub and difficult to see, with even the danger of falling into it.
