Benifallet • Baix Ebre 13m 10m

Small 10 m deep pit in Benifallet, with an oval 8 m shaft and a 5 m scree ramp.

Characteristics

Location

At an undetermined point in the barranc d'Aixeca (according to the ICGC: Fontdaixeca). According to Oleguer Escolà, they ascended the ravine from the coves de les Aumidielles (at that time neither the cova Marigot nor the cova de les Meravelles had yet been discovered) and located the pit following the directions of a person from the village. After more than 50 years he no longer remembers anything else.

Needless to say, the coordinates given here are completely random over the upper part of the ravine. If someone locates it in the future, they will know that it is not an unpublished cavity.
