Baix Pallars • Pallars Sobirà 55m 19m

A 19 m deep pothole in Baix Pallars (Boumort), discovered and first explored on 23 May 1988.

Characteristics

Location

The cavity is located in Baix Pallars (Boumort). The data provided by its first explorers are very unclear for locating the cavity and, if we go by the coordinates (very unreliable) and the altitude given, it would give an approximate point located west of the Roca del Racó de l'Ós and quite far from the Salt de la Núvia, as stated in the original record. In May 2010, members of the ERE and the SIE carried out a sweep of the area in question without obtaining results. The best access to the area can be made from the ridge that descends westward from the plans of the Serra del Pou – Esplà.
