Location

In the S sector of the Costa del Tet ridge. You can go from Sant Feliu del Racó and climb to the coll del Pujol; once here you must follow the Costa del Tet until you find two cement pillars, then continue in an E direction to reach the top of a rocky outcrop, you go down to the foot of this and must continue in an N direction until you reach a twisted pine. From here we will have to crouch under some holm oaks and look in a SE direction for the mouth of the pit. Approximate coordinates.

Description

Morphology

The mouth, one metre in diameter, is located above a room 4 metres high. The floor of the cavity descends until you come across two parallel galleries that together with the room lead to an impenetrable shaft. About three metres beyond the mouth there is an impenetrable hole that communicates with a side gallery of the pit's room.

Progression

You can descend to the bottom without difficulty thanks to a large fallen block.

History

The only data we know are those published by members of the SIS – CE Terrassa who explored and surveyed it in November 1977. It was published as Avenc de la Costa del Tec, instead of Tet, which seems to be the correct toponymy.
