Avenc de la Canal del Bisbe

The entrance opens beneath a large block and presents itself as an earthy hole that had to be cleared a little. We quickly reach a ramp-like shaft that widens after a few metres and drops vertically about 3 metres.

The origin of the cavity seems basically mechanical, formed by the detachment of large rocks from the S face of the Montcau that occupied the upper space of a small water-carved gully.

From the base of this small shaft we can take two directions. Towards the E we must climb a small 1 metre step followed by a fairly steep ascending ramp, ending very narrow. In the opposite direction we can still descend a little down a slope that takes us to the -7 metres level, the deepest point. We can still continue in the same direction, climbing over a pile of stones and passing a narrow, constricted section to reach a small chamber of reduced dimensions.
