Descrizione

Morfologia

This pit opens at the bottom of a large collapse doline, whose walls have a steep slope. The doline is developed on Lutetian Marls, which collapse over the existing void in the underlying calcarenites. At the contact between the Marls and the ochre calcarenites there is an opening 0.5 metres in diameter with a circular section that gives access to a shaft with a circular section, the result of the evolution of a joint running E-W. The shaft is 10 metres deep and has a section of 9 square metres. Laterally the original joint can be seen, very narrow and tending towards meandering, completely impassable.

Altri dettagli

At the bottom of the shaft there is an accumulation of sediments of a clayey nature.
